One simple and effective way to increase membership is to get your spouse informed and registered.
I know my wife has just as large a network as I do, so that is one more avenue to get the word out.

well - for the antis - the ONLY post they liked seems to be "pack your bags and go home". Lets not try to force ourselves to satisfy them.
Now, when it comes to out of status issues - lot of people do genuinely fall out of status. There is nothing called exploiting the loophole unless someone breaks the laws.
It is obvious that one must not be on bench, or after layoff without a job. There is no room for loopholes.
We have always seen that USCIS does treat every petition for renewal on a case to case basis. Grace period (considerable) has been considered for genuine cases.
Infighting is common - it happens everywhere. People seldom change.
See - IV is not something like a freedom movement or asking for rights for poor or downtrodden - IV is basically a group of immigrants who are skilled and well educated who want to lobby for a change in system and sort issues. I got my FP done on 11/21.I did open a SR on 10/05, based on which I got my FP notice on 11/06.
My details:
485 filed at NSC on July 6th
Receipting done by CSC on 09/05, EAD and AP sent by CSC
485 pending at NSC
Looks like they have started the FPs for transferred cases like ours...
I haven't got my FP Notice yet! No SR opened.
Is there any NSC-CSC-NSC filer who got FP notice without opening a SR?

--I wouldn't do such a stupid thing. You withdraw I-140, your I485 goes to fish!

--Your "lawyers" are narrowly focused on being able to apply for another I-140 by withdrawing the pending one. That is not right. Ask your lawyer to find out if he can apply another I-140 while one is already pending. I believe one can do that if the job description is different. Not sure.
If he cannot, then let the LC that you currently have expire. You can start another immediately. It will take some time for the whole PERM process to be completed. You would have gained sometime by then and your pending I140 may be approved by then. If not, you can jump to the new process.

Movie is not focused on H1b quota. It would tell common public the real side stories of H1 people as they are focused now as job stealers (is wrong). The odds of that and how they struggle on H1 etc.

There is a section in 485 application to list your spouse and dependents. Talk to a good lawyer to see if you can still add her. Or you can live in india until you figure out a way to bring her here on student visa or something.

I am in a similar situation but last year I got a marriage certificate from the Consulate in NY but I am not sure whether this will be enough. I am going to talk to my lawyer tomorrow.

The question is incorrect.

Is it mandatory to file AC21 with USCIS after moving to a new company?
If I move out to a new company before 180 days with the employer's co operation now and

What if the job i'm moving to after 180 days is hiring me permanently now itself? Do they still have to specify (in EVL for AC21) that they will hire me perm only upon getting GC?
Just specify that they intend to employ you on a permanent basis. It does not really matter whether it happens before or after you get your GC.

So I am in some real mess ....
I married to a gal in 2007 during my visit to my home country but it did not work out b/w her and me due to some family reasons. (Not divorced just separated)
I came back to US in 2008 and applied for 485. My green card got approved and now my wife is in my home country and I am in US.
Now my wife and I have reconciled and I want to bring her to US.
Can I apply for her Green card and bring back to US ASAP w/o waiting for 5 years as I married before approval of my GC. I can get papers from my home country showing that I got married way before my GC approval.
I did not show at any stage in GC application that I was ever married. I thought the marriage is gone so why show it and now it could hurt me. I even dont remember if there was any question regarding marital status on 485 application.
Please help me other wise I would just have to cancel my GC and go back to H1 to bring my wife here. I cant leave her any more with our stupid relatives who might again break our marriage.

my employment is terminated a month ago. I still need to file h1 transfer to the GC sponser. I am single
I am told that H1 can be transferred only with in 10 days-20 days or so. which means that it is already a month. so in case if I dont get the h1 or if I have an issue in the H1 transfer, is that the end of my being H1.
If I were to be on H1 again is it going to come under the cap along with those new H1 filers? I still have one and half years to complete 6 years.
I have a fall back to EAD though based an approved 140 and 180 days past 485.

I received receipt nos. from CSC. Later i received EAD also. Today i received mail from USCIS stating that my case is transferred to Nebraska. :(
