I go against this idea, because this doesn't work out logistically.
First as others pointed out traffic will be way less as soon as IV charges,
second, what would be the cut-off? $5 or $100? So if person who paid $5 might get the same privileges as guys who paid $1000? Is it fair, then you need to come up with normal, premium membership etc..
Third, as soon as you make people pay, they become more demanding as they need to know where their each cents have been spent. I guess then IV core member needs to answer questions related to this more than actual issues

There is one guy I know of mentioned that his 485 package was returned after the July 2nd update.
When did he get back the package?
Does it have a rejection notice in it?
I think these two key questions can throw more light on this. Can you enquire and post here for everybody's reference? We will really appreciate that.

Hi, I see that several June 1st filers who mailed on 31st may have received RD's. So same logic should apply for July 2nd filers who mailed on 30th june. I dont see any difference between the two scenarios. Any rejected july 2nd applns should have already reached, unless they are lost in return mail :(. Otherwise the scenario is exactly identical to June 1st filers.

Can the admins set up a sticky thread for rumors that CANNOT be edited by anybody but the admins themselves. Some people on this forum have way too much time on their hands with the friends friend nonsense. I'm unsure what kick people get out of coming up with putrid talk.
BTW, spreading rumors and creating public fear is a federal offense. Before you post your friends friend story, you might want to think this thing through. Based on your rumor if somebody goes through physical or mental harm, the source of information WILL be traced back to you. At that time your ass is somebody's property will NOT sound like a rumor. Get back to work and do something productive.

Maybe there are better laws there. But the people there are not fundamentally different. So I expect to have to face many of the same problems we are facing here. I have heard of a lot of anti-immigration sentiment and even laws in Europe.
After all it is White Americans who emigrated from Europe who are the majority here. And we are facing the most fierce resistance from them here. What do you expect of those who are native, not immigrants or of immigrant decent.
When they need you, they make it easy for you to move there to work for them. When they don't need you, they can kick you out or make life so miserable for you that you don't want to live there any more.
Just think of what the Germans did to Jews in WWII. WWII seems like a distant memory to us. But "there is nothing new under the sun". People are still people. Their genes have not been significantly modified. They will still have the same thoughts and emotion. Only those who are better educated can be somewhat different. But educated people are never in control of their societies.
I feel that the oppression from White Americans in America is enough for me to bare already. I don't want to risk moving into White people's native territory unless it is just temporary.

I could see myself or any other desi dude and I have seen people in this situation. Its painful. Myself, I learnt my lesson during the 2000 - 2002 recession and spent all these years preparing for something like this. It was a difficult but I had to do it. I kind of knew that this would happen every 10 years. This time it did not take it 10 yrs.
By the way, I liked your narration of the incident. I wish I could do it.
We have very skilled people here and here is my suggestion. Why don't we make a documentary on these stories and the problems we face due to immigration. It will be much better way of putting our concerns before the people and I am sure even the immigration hardliners will sympathize with us if they hear us out and what we are going thru even after being there for 7-10 years paying taxes and doing our due diligence.
These are my 2 cents and good luck with your job slumdog!

I got a reply from USCIS saying that they can process the request sorted by priority date and country of birth of the applicant. Processing time will be around 15 months and that they have got their answer on priority date.

Family income: Almost 4-5 times per capital GDP
Job type: Stable
Credit score : Excellent
Highest education: MBA
Willing to put downpayment: Yes, required 20%
Mortgage application: Rejected as EAD is valid for only one year.
Now you tell me what should I do...
shop around...talk to different lenders....there are many of them that understand that the ead is renewable. its up to u as a consumer how to make ur case.
