If 200 more people contribute, we can open an UK branch of IV to address issues faced by high skilled immigrants (who can't even pay 20 bucks a month) in UK. May be these high skilled immigrants are very low paid since they can't even afford 20 bucks a month for this noble cause.

Hello,
My application also returned for the same reason (no I485 receipt notice attached) from Phoenix. Not sure what to do at this time. I never received I485 receipt notices. Hence, I have attached biometric notices in place I485 receipt notices. I have added a cover letter requesting to expedite the process. I am not sure if this request caused some mental disturbance on the person who is supposed to work on my application and may have sent me rejected notice.
I got my wife's and sons entire packet back with the exact remarks, "Incorrect Check amount and no I 485 attached". I had both correct amount of 340.00 and Copy of I 140 attached..I e-filed on June 15th again and waiting to see this time what excuses they come out with now..I did get the receipt notices for both of them yesterday.. What a joke??

If one changes from EB3 to EB2, then priority date is lost!
Please don't answer for the purpose of answering. You can port your PD if start a new labour, which is many are going to do since the 140 PP is back.

We submitted our EAD application in June first week and we got our card this week, effective from last week of July for the next one year.
Our priority date is October 2006- EB2 and we are not current. So shouldnt we have been issued a 2 year EAD?
Also we gave our finger prints last year (July 2007 filer) but this time too both the EAD cards shows no FP available .
The EAD card of my spouse (he is the primary applicant says signature waived) I still have signature on my EAD card. Anyone else with the card that says signature waived. Previous card had his signature in there.
I heard that's the way it should be from Aug 1st... :confused:

Guysssssss N Gals , I got it (I-485 approval) 10 minutes ago!!!!!!!!!!! NO RFE. Recent Luds were on I-140 / I-129 / I-131 ( Luds occered on 10/29 & 11/4) . Been in USA (F1, H1) since Aug 1997.

NSC received my AOS packet on July 24th and all my checks cased yesterday. I file I140 and I485 concurrently.

PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. When you call the (800) number, please select the FINGERPRINTING OPTION.

I called USCIS and spoke to Nebraska IO and she said they are sorry some of these notices went out in error. She checked my case and said I am set and no need to panic.

I do not think this is standard. I worked for a consultant company for 7 years and never saw an agreement like that!!
Yes !!!Also to me, it feels very fishy. The topic of this document is very misleading too..."Time Sheet Agreement" and they have included all the 'bonded labor' clauses in it...Thats why I have posted it here in this forum to get some feedback from experienced people who might have come across these nonsense.

My 6th year H1B is expiring on April 28, 2008. I applied labor through PERM on October 2, 2007. I got the audit letter on December 3, 07. This audit letter does not state anything about the issue of the audit letter. However, the sentence �The job duties and/ or requirements are beyond those defined for the job by SOC/ O*Net code an Occupation Title provided by the State Workforce Agency� is highlighted in this letter. The letter also request for Business Necessity Letter and Recruitment Report. My case is the EB2 case for a Project Manager position with a minimum of 2 years working experience. A couple of programs and knowledge in the field are also required for this position. At the recruitment times, there are no applicants applied to this position. The company has approximately 16 employees including me.
I�m very confused and not sure what to do because my lawyer refused to answer any question. In my case that the Labor Certification is still pending (under audit) and my H1B is expiring in April, I wonder if I should start taking vacation now or go to work in another country for approximately 6-7 months and come back later to use the rest of my H1B until October 2, 08 to meet 365 days period? After October 2, 08, I can then start filing the H1B Extension for 1 year. Or should I wait until my I-140 approved and come back around October 2, 08 and do the H1B Extension for another 3 years? Or should I stay in US until April, 08 and take vacation until October, 08 and then comeback around October, 08 to file H1B extension? Also, do I still have to be employ full time with my current employer during this whole period? Can the job only be part time? Also, do I have to get pay the whole time from my current US employer during this whole period? Thank you very much for your help.

Dude, you need to pick one of the two: Immigration or Career. Given the current immigration climate, you can't have both of them. I'm sure you might have thought about this when you switched to the Fortune 500 company and knew what you were getting into. If you feel you have a chance at the EB2 by switching back to the previous employer, I think you should do it. Once you get your residency, you will have plenty of opportunities to work for even Fortune 100 companies. For now, just take the plunge and get ready for your dates to become current.
